New faces had come from various places
Lined up at the door then filled empty spaces.
Familiar faces were mingled in with the new
Some ate the food, other stuck with just brew.
The band was handpicked
And they filled the room quick
With music that caused a lot of toe tapping,
Singing, and laughing, and a little thigh slapping.
A hour in and the band took a pause,
We gave out the gifts given to the cause.
Pulling from the pot, better check your stub!
Ice cream, massages, or three months at the club
Were just a couple of the various prizes -
Also two bikes of two different sizes.
The couple that won was all screams and squeals
As they cruised the lot on their Brave New Wheels.
Ya’ll seemed to enjoy it with smiles and laughter,
We hope everyone got just what they were after.
